Tonaki island is the island located 60kms off the westcoast of Okinawa mainland.

There are 3 dives sites there and you will see millions of colourful fishes and butterfly fishes by the steep drop-off, explore the underwater cave called "Blue Hole", and spot possibly around 20 green turtles. It is simply one of the best dive sites you can do a day trip from Okinawa mainland. 

We go there several times during the summer.

Dive sites : Guruku no saki ("Corner") and Blue Hole

Season : July to November

Attractions : A healthy wall covered with millions of colourful fishes and butterfly fishes, and an beautiful underwater cave.

Depth : 15~30mtrs/45~100ft

Visibility : 20~35mtrs+

Recommended level : Advanced and 30 logged dives. Comfortable with dark and overhead circumstances. We do drift dives at Tonaki.

<Time schedule>

0545 - Pick up at the hotel and stop by the supermarket to buy lunch

0630 - Arrival at the port , get on a boat, assemble gear, etc

0700 - Boat departure for Tonaki island

0930 - 1st dive

1130 - Change the site and 2nd dive

1230 - Lunch

1330 - Change the site and 3rd dive

1430 - Leave Tonaki island

1630 - Back to the port

1730 - Back to the hotel
